A Northwest Christmas Song

One of my facebook friends posted that they were tired of snow themed Christmas songs and another posted the first line to the following song parody. Thank you Sarah Morrigan for the inspiration:

The NorthWest Christmas Song (to the tune of The Christmas Song)

Coffee beans roasting on an open fire

Winter mist stuffing up your nose

Yuletide carols being sung by a choir

And folks dressed up in rain ponchos

Everybody knows organic turkey and some mistletoe

Help make the season almost bright

Tiny tots with their ipods a-glow

Will find it hard to sleep tonight

They know that Amazon’s on its way

UPS has lots of toys and goodies due today

And every mother’s child is gonna spy

Looking for bags that are marked REI

And so I’m offering this simple phrase

To kids from one to ninety two

Although it’s been wet many times, many ways

A mossy Christmas, a merry Christmas

A Northwest Christmas to you.
